Karl Brewer has been a portfolio manager on William Blair’s Small Cap

three years. Before that, he was in the mergers-and-acquisitions and

Richard L. Chilton, Jr. is the founder, chairman, CEO, and chief
investment officer of Chilton Investment Company. Since founding
Chilton Investment Company in 1992, Chilton has built a team of
investment professionals focused on building wealth in favorable
markets and preserving capital in declining markets. Under
his leadership, Chilton Investment Company has developed a
commitment to value-oriented, fundamental research and disciplined
portfolio management and has grown into a multi-product platform,
including the Flagship fund managed by Chilton, as well as European
Equities, Small Cap Equities, and Global Natural Resources. Since
Chilton Investment Company’s founding in 1992, Chilton has

portfolio manager at Alliance Capital Management Corporation. Mr.
Chilton began his career in the mergers-and-acquisitions group at
Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.
Chilton is a vice chairman of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, a
trustee of the Classical American Homes Preservation Trust, and
a trustee emeritus of the Robin Hood Foundation, all located in
New York. He is also chairman emeritus of Greenwich Academy, a
day school for girls located in Greenwich, Connecticut. He is also
the founder and chairman emeritus of The Darien Foundation for
Technology & Community, which focuses on, and provides grants for,
technology initiatives in schools, libraries, and educational centers.
Chilton is a former trustee of The Henry Francis du Pont Winterthur
Museum and The Boys’ Club of New York, and from 1994 to 2002 he
was a trustee and chairman of the investment committee for Historic
Hudson Valley, a foundation focusing on historic preservation in the
Hudson River valley. He received a B.S. in finance and economics from
Alfred University.

Daniel C. Chung is chief executive officer, chief investment officer,
and portfolio manager of several Alger strategies. He joined Alger in
1994 and has 21 years of investment experience. He was named chief
investment officer in September 2001, president in 2003, and CEO in
2006. Chung graduated from Stanford University with B.A. and B.S.
degrees, with distinction and Phi Beta Kappa, in 1984. He earned his
J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1987, where he was
an editor of the Harvard Law Review. After law school, he served as
law clerk for The Honorable Anthony M. Kennedy of the U.S. Supreme

Stephen Mandel founded Lone Pine Capital in 1997. Previously,
he was a senior managing director and consumer analyst at Tiger
Management Corp. from 1990 to 1997, mass-market retailing analyst
at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. from 1984 to 1990, and senior consultant
at Mars and Company from 1982 to 1984. Mandel was also an equity
analyst in the Goldman Sachs Group Inc. research division. He serves

value business. He has 13 years of experience investing in this

focused on the communications, media, entertainment (CME) and
consumer sectors and served as a portfolio manager for 10 years.
Previously, he was a partner and sector manager of CME at Saranac
Capital Management L.P. McCarthy started his career at Merrill
Lynch, where, as vice president, he advised financial institutions
on global asset allocation and investments in alternative products

two years working in the private equity group at Lehman Brothers,

Ted Maloney is an investment officer and the director of U.S. research
at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). He also serves as a

of U.S. research, Maloney oversees the MFS U.S. equity research team.
In his role as a core equity portfolio manager, he is responsible for
the final buy and sell decisions, portfolio construction, and risk and
cash management. In addition, Maloney participates in the research

K.C. Nelson is the portfolio manager of the Driehaus long/short
credit and event-driven strategies. As portfolio manager, he oversees
approximately $3.7 billion (as of August 31, 2015) in assets under

Select Credit Fund (DRSLX), and Driehaus Event Driven Fund
(DEVDX). Within these strategies, he is responsible for implementing
a multi-strategy approach to the credit markets with an emphasis on

Carmel Wellso is director of research, a position she has held since
December 2014. In this role, she leads the global equity research
effort at Janus. Her responsibility is to maintain a powerful and

chief investment officer. As head of the portfolio oversight team
for Janus’s research strategies, Wellso helps oversee the Janus

Dick Weiss is a managing director and senior portfolio manager for the Select Equity team at Wells Capital Management. Dick joined Wells Capital Management from Strong Capital Management in 2004.
