Christy L. Phillips is head of equity strategies and director of research at Franklin Street Partners. Previously Phillips was a principal and portfolio manager for RS Investments, LLC, where she led the investment team for the Core Growth Equity strategy. Before joining RS Investments, she held a variety of positions, including portfolio manager, director of research, investment committee member, and principal of Oak Value Capital Management Inc., which was acquired by RS Investments, LLC, in September 2010. Phillips has 26 years of investment professional experience, including a long tenure as a senior analyst focusing on equity analysis at various sell-side firms—Coker Palmer Phillips & Mullen (principal), Smith Barney Inc., Smith Barney Shearson, Lehman Brothers, and Shearson Lehman Hutton in New York. Phillips received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee in 1986.
Jason Polun is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. He is a director of equity research for North America, chair of the equity research advisory committee, and a member of the equity steering committee. In addition, Polun is portfolio manager of the Capital Opportunity Fund and is a member of the portfolio oversight team. He is also co-chair of the Capital Opportunity Fund’s investment advisory committee. He was previously a research analyst following money center banks and specialty finance companies and a member of the investment advisory committee of the Equity Income Fund and Financial Services Fund. Before rejoining the firm in 2007, Polun was employed by Wellington Management Company, LLP as a vice president and an equity research analyst, where his coverage included aerospace and defense, energy, packaged food, restaurant, and chemical companies. He received a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Mount St. Mary’s College and a master’s degree in business administration focusing on finance and accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar. He has also earned the CFA designation.
Brian Pratt is responsible for equity research on companies with market capitalizations between $1 billion and $20 billion. Before joining WEDGE Capital Management in 2007, he worked as a litigation consultant with Tucker Alan and Navigant Consulting, providing financial and accounting advisory services in large commercial disputes. Pratt received a bachelor’s degree in economics and philosophy from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the firm’s investment policy committee.
Ben Reynolds is vice president and analyst with a focus on the technology sector. Reynolds joined Alger in 2011 and has 14 years of investment experience. His previous experience includes working at Barclays Capital in the healthcare distribution and technology group. He has also served as a vice president at CIT Group in the M&A and healthcare investing banking teams, an associate at Seabury Group in corporate restructuring and investment banking, and an analyst at JP Morgan/ Beacon Group in M&A. Reynolds earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and a master’s degree in business administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Ben is also a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
Simon Rosenberg is a principal, portfolio manager, and senior analyst at Snow Capital Management, a Pittsburgh-based investment manager with more than $4 billion in assets under management. He oversees four strategies and $3 billion in assets, including the firm’s flagship All Cap Value portfolio. Before joining the firm, he served as controller for a manufacturing company and as an assurance associate at KPMG LLP. Rosenberg received a master’s degree in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business in 2007 and bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance from Florida State University in 2002. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the CFA Institute and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Rahul Sadiwala is an equity investment analyst at Capital Group with research responsibility for Asia-Pacific telecom, Indian infrastructure, IT services, and pharmaceuticals. He has nine years of investment experience and has been with Capital Group for three years. Before joining Capital Group, Sadiwala was a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. and an equity analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co. He received a master’s degree in business administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis. He also holds the CFA designation. Sadiwala is based in Singapore.
Ward Sexton is a portfolio manager on the Small Cap Growth strategy and a research analyst focused on U.S. small- and mid-cap resources stocks. Previously, he was an associate portfolio manager on the Small Cap Growth Strategy and a research analyst. He joined the team in 2001, previously covering the financials and consumer sectors in addition to energy and materials. He joined William Blair in 1999 and worked in the firm’s corporate finance group for two years. Sexton is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance with honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and master’s degree in business administration with high honors from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
A director and fundamental portfolio manager of Causeway, Alessandro Valentini is responsible for investment research in the global healthcare and financials sectors. He joined the firm in July 2006 and has been a portfolio manager since April 2013. During the summer of 2005, Valentini worked as a research analyst at Thornburg Investment Management, where he conducted fundamental research for the International Value Fund and the Value Fund, focusing on the European telecommunication and Canadian oil sectors. From 2000 to 2004, Valentini worked as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs in the European equities research-sales division in New York. Valentini received a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School with honors, a master’s degree in economics from Georgetown University, and a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Georgetown University. Valentini was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honors society, is a Phi Beta Kappa member, and is a CFA charterholder.

He works in Wellington Management’s Boston office. Before joining Wellington Management in 2008, Vincent completed an internship at the firm as a global industry analyst covering the titanium industry. Before that, he
founded and operated AllPrints Interactive, a direct seller of framed artwork, from 2002 to 2006. Vincent earned a master’s degree in business administration from Cornell University in 2008 and a

Kevin Walenta is an equity research analyst at Fidelity Management & Research Company (FMRCo), the investment advisor for Fidelity’s family of mutual funds. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to more than 20 million individuals, institutions, and financial intermediaries. In his current role, Walenta is responsible for analyzing, valuing, and recommending equity securities in the utilities sector. Walenta has also managed the Fidelity Select Environment and
Alternative Energy Portfolio since November 2014. Before assuming his current position in 2013, Walenta worked as an equity research analyst at FMRCo, covering the industrial sector from 2010 to 2013 and the energy sector from 2008 to 2010. Before joining Fidelity in 2008, he was an equity research associate at Driehaus Capital Management from 2004 to 2006. He has been in the investment industry since 2004. Walenta earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in business administration from Duke University.
